What a day we had last week! Elizabeth Holmes, renowned American journalist and reporting on British royal style, joined us at our London showroom for an unforgettable afternoon. She invited a wonderful group of ladies along for a private look at some of the finest pieces from our vintage jewellery collection.

Elizabeth reached out to my daughter, Gemma @thisismothership and I, and together we orchestrated an event that was bursting with charm. Imagine an afternoon tea—complete with scones, of course—and a showcase of our most exquisite vintage pieces, including jewellery that’s been featured on The Crown. The ladies were absolutely obsessed with hearing all about The Crown, especially the iconic revenge choker piece that Diana (played by Elizabeth Debicki) wore. I spoke about my journey to where I am today and loved every moment of reliving my story and sharing the wonderful work my team do here behind the scenes.

I couldn't help but be a little excited (OK, maybe very excited!) about how vintage jewellery isn’t just about the sparkle—it’s about the stories behind each piece. Each item has lived through decades, before finding its way into a new life. And seeing people fall in love with that idea? Well, that’s the best part of what we do.

Elizabeth was kind enough to capture the day and share it with her audience, posting beautiful moments on her blog. You can read all about her London adventure here. It’s definitely worth a look, especially if you’re a fan of vintage jewellery, royal fashion, and all things timeless.

This event marked a first for us and wouldn’t have been possible without Whitney and Lucy from @atlasadventurestrips. A heartfelt thank you to Jarrard @jarradcole for capturing the day's beautiful moments, and a big thank you to Elizabeth Holmes @eholmes for all your effort in helping to create this wonderful afternoon.
