What an adventure my journey with D'Orlan has been! My first encounter with this incredible Canadian jewellery brand felt like discovering a hidden treasure buried in plain sight. Known for its impeccable craftsmanship and vibrant designs, D'Orlan quickly stole my heart—and has kept it ever since.

It all started with a chance connection to the owner’s son, whose family had taken over the D'Orlan factory. From there, our professional relationship blossomed into a friendship that’s lasted nearly two decades. I’ve made countless trips to Canada to see him and his family—each visit featuring endless cups of tea, far too many slices of cake (purely for research, of course), and no shortage of laughter. Every trip became a treasure hunt, with him digging through decades of D'Orlan stock to handpick pieces he knew I’d adore. Let’s just say leaving Canada without a suitcase full of jewels quickly became… unlikely!

But then I discovered that he was moving just around the corner from my sister’s partner!
