The Blazon Chaîne motif was born in 1973 after founder Céline Vipiana’s car broke down near the Arc de Triomphe; captivated by the interlocking "C" pattern of the monument's surrounding iron chains, she gained official permission to adopt the design as the house emblem. This vintage piece celebrates that heritage, transforming a symbol of French pride into a timeless silk accessory.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Originally a custom shoemaker for children, Celine was opened in 1945 by Celine Vipiana, but the first womenswear line was not created until 1959. The line's iconic equestrian symbols pay tribute to its founders passion for riding.
