To sit down with The Financial Times' Carola Long and discuss gifting and holiday traditions was such a pleasure! In the interview, I shared my love for giving gifts that hold history and meaning—whether it’s vintage jewellery or antique treasures, I truly believe the best presents are the ones with a personal story. There’s something so special about giving a gift that reflects thoughtfulness and craftsmanship, and I’m all about choosing pieces that will create lasting memories.
I also spoke about my Hanukkah traditions, which are always filled with warmth and joy. Every year, I host a gathering with my daughters, son-in-laws, grandkids, and the rest of our loved ones—lots of latkes, laughter, and of course, gift-giving. The kids love helping me prepare the latkes, and I enjoy gifting meaningful treasures, like vintage Star of David necklaces, to those closest to me. A big thank you to Carola Long for the wonderful interview, and to Lily Bertrand-Webb for capturing the moment with her beautiful photography.
